Sustainable. Storytelling Interiors.

Core Values.

Our passion for people and the planet is what drives us to create unique interiors that focus on the people who occupy those spaces and the effect our choices have on the environment.

You can rely on us to listen to your needs and manage all the details that will complete your project.

Personal ethics reflect business values as we focus on sourcing sustainable, well crafted furniture and finishes.

Design Style.

Drifts between eclectic and urban modern with an affection for mid century or art deco details. Believes strongly in bringing the outdoors in with natural elements. Prefers a little drama. Not in life, just in design. Wishes she could touch textiles online and swoons over loud patterns. A minimalist in theory, but a maximalist at heart. Balances both by fusing simple solutions with dramatic details.

Experience.

With 14 years of design experience, Nicole exclusively spent 10 years designing hospitality projects. Her career started after earning a bachelor’s degree from an accredited Interior Design program with a minor in Business. She has extensive knowledge of green design, including the US Green Building Council’s LEED program. While she does have years of experience, she is determined to never stop learning.

My Story.

Born and raised in Michigan and after living in Holland, Michigan for nearly a decade, my husband and I were looking for a change. So like any sensible couple, we sold our house, downsized and stored our things, quit our jobs and moved into a 136 square foot RV. Our three month road trip turned into three years of adventure and misadventure throughout the south and western United States. I call it our first retirement, but that isn’t exactly accurate as this business was born at our dinette in our tiny home. Our favorite souvenir from our travels is, hands down, the bonded senior rescue dogs we adopted in Southern Oregon.

While flexibility and freedom were amazing, we’ve since joined the “real world” and now call Asheville, North Carolina home. For now. A girl can daydream. Bigger RV next time, for sure.

Beyond my work experience, I've also been an adjunct professor teaching sustainable design courses and 3D model making.
